NHL players, coaches and fans are already wondering if the company is a business.
Jeff Bezos is the latest celebrity to get into the business of keeping track of their lives, and it’s not going well for him.
Lifestyle magazine for children was sued Monday by the league for allegedly promoting an unhealthy lifestyle.
The suit was filed in California and accuses the publication of marketing itself as a place where children can learn about healthy living.
The complaint seeks class-action status.
The league said in a statement that it has a zero-tolerance policy against child-related content.
“We strongly encourage our players, staff and fans to respect all children and to be respectful of the families that surround them,” the statement read.
“The NHL and Jeff Bezos Publishing are committed to the highest standards of child-rearing and are working with the legal team to resolve this matter.”
