But, he said, Pelican preserves are still “a niche” for Americans and have “never really had much mainstream attention.”

Fishel explained that Pelican has a history of marketing products that can be easily mislabeled as products designed for “skin care” and as “premier” products.
“The idea is that you’re going to make a claim that you can sell products that don’t do anything for your skin,” Fisshel said, noting that Pelicans products are “a lot of fun, but they can be very expensive.”
Fishell said Pelican also doesn’t disclose the brand name of its products, and that the brand is still in the early stages of being launched.
“I think people really do care about it, but it’s definitely not the norm,” Fischl said.
